Firetalk’s ‘in-kind’ support Parry Logistics ‘Strives to be the best, not the biggest’ Construction team kicks in Well-known Tamworth business Firetalk provide fire protection equipment, systems and ser vice. They are assisting the Ser vice by helping to protect the Base at Tamworth Airport and other assets such as trailers pro bono. Firetalk covers the New England, Gunnedah Basin and Upper Hunter regions as well as Narrabri and Moree. This generous company joins a number of other businesses that choose to support the Service for no cost. The support of Firetalk and other in-kind business partners helps the Service reduce costs thus ensuring that fundraising income goes towards keeping the helicopters flying. The owners and employees of Parry Logistics are now contributing regularly to the Service by donating an amount each time they are paid. The company joins a growing number of businesses in the New England North West who choose to support the Service through the Payroll Deduction Program. Parry Logistics was established in Tamworth in 1958 and has now grown to a company that employs 75 people and operates 43 trucks and 90 trailers servicing four States. They provide line haul, distribution and warehousing to a range of national and local customers. The company is noted for its innovation having been awarded many accreditations including the RTA Clean Fleet award. Welcome aboard. Aurecon Hatch, the engineering company coordinating the construction of the NCIG’s coal loader on Kooragang Island, and its employees donated $10,000 to the Service in December 2011.
