Many tanks RapidPlas staff promote the campaign Lismore’s Regional Marketing Manager Zeke Huish Volunteers from the Gunnedah Support Group at Gordon Barry & Co Aero Defence, a leading supplier of aerospace and military spec parts to the aviation industry, has announced it will continue as a valued partner of the Service. In recognition of a shared alignment and mission in working to keep people safe, Aero Defence supports the Rescue Helicopter through service and promotion. The company provides critical service of a reliable supply chain partner to ensure effective management of the logistical challenges when maintaining the Service’s sophisticated aircraft. Additionally, it provides support through co-operative marketing efforts to help promote the Rescue Helicopter’s work across the community. Tank manufacturer RapidPlas held a major fundraising campaign throughout August and September with more than 60 distributors taking part. Proceeds from selected tank models sold by suppliers from Cessnock to Dubbo and up to Lismore were donated to the Service. Stores across the region helped spread the word about the Rescue Helicopter by creating special displays and holding fundraisers. Gordon Barry & Co Gunnedah held a morning tea on 10 August that raised more than $1,200. At our service Essential visit Essential Energy CEO John Cleland was impressed with the Service’s focus on safety and response times when he visited the Tamworth Base in early July. CEO Richard Jones proudly showed Mr Cleland and Regional Manager Northern Mark Summers around the facility and the new AW139, of which Essential Energy is a logo partner in the New England North West. Essential Energy has supported the Rescue Helicopter since 2010. Employees regularly donate through the Essential Giving Program with the company matching these donations dollar for dollar.
