Northern NSW : Rescue Winter 2017
It was a fitting final round for the committee of the Save the Babies Charity Golf Day with the event attracting 180 players to the Crowne Plaza Resort Hunter Valley Golf Course on 3 March. During the past decade the day has raised $362,000, which has been shared between the Rescue Helicopter and John Hunter Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Organised by a small group of people who had experienced the high level of care, skill and professionalism of both recipient organisations, the annual event was a way to repay the support provided and to fund new equipment to help sick and premature babies.
