Northern NSW : Rescue Winter 2017
Club 139 growing DFK Crosbie and Hunternet have been warmly welcomed into Club 139. The two new members join 68 other individuals and organisations supporting the Service by marking the arrival of the new fleet of AgustaWestland AW139 aircraft. By contributing a tax-deductible donation of $1,500, Foundation members provide collaborative support for our region’s aeromedical services with like-minded people and organisations. Members also have the opportunity to attend networking events, be included in social media and marketing activities, and use the base Visitor Centre for corporate events. Foundation membership is limited to 139 places with many numbers already purchased. If you would like to become a Club 139 Foundation Member please call our marketing team on 1800 155 155. Go the Blues! A memorable State of Origin opener night was hosted by PKF on 1 June. And it wasn’t only the NSW team that set an impressive high standard during the evening. PKF and guests attending the function raised $7,000, increasing last year’s donation by more than $1,000. Osborne Law Osborne Law Director Tim Osborne and PKF Sydney & Newcastle Managing Director Steve Meyn hosted a group of local business people at the Broadmeadow base in June. Osborn Law and PKF have each been long term supporters of the Rescue Helicopter and in taking a tour of the base they also had the chance to fly in the Service’s CASA accredited flight simulator. We thank both business for their ongoing and valued support. A recent gathering of some Club 139 Foundation members 14 Rescue Magazine WINTER 2017
