Northern NSW : Rescue Autumn 2017
Michael has made an incredible contribution to this service for 21 years and his presence on the board will be missed. Significant contribution recognised Service Chairman, Cliff Marsh OAM, honoured the commitment and work of Michael Slater who has announced his retirement as a director of the Service. Mr Slater joined the board in 1996 and has worked tirelessly on the Service’s Finance Committee, Audit & Risk Committee and the Nominations, Remuneration & Governance Committee. ‘Michael has made an incredible contribution to this service for 21 years and his presence on the Board will be missed. He is an astute businessman as well as a passionate and hardworking community member,’ Mr Marsh said. “The service we provide for our community has improved incredibly in the past two decades and Michael should be very proud of his contribution. He has overseen growth that has presented considerable risk to our service but through his leadership and wise counsel, we continue to serve our community members to the high standard they deserve. ‘The Board and staff of the service thank Mike for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future,’ Mr Marsh said What’s trending?
