You can also like Mildred and friends on Facebook and Instagram @mildredandfriends. Hello, I'd like to firstly thank you all for your wonderful service and the great work that you do. I'd also like to share how fabulous the children's book 'Mildred Makes a Difference' is. We took our 2.5year old to the Newcastle Museum exhibition and came home with the book and the money box. We live close to John Hunter Hospital and my daughter listens out for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter all the time. The exhibition was a great way to show her a bit more of what's involved and bringing home the book (which has been read approximately 30 times in just a few days) has been a great way to extend this knowledge. She sleeps with Mildred the money box and needs to have the book on top of the bed. My daughter now thinks it's definitely Mildred up there in the sky going in and out of the hospital. We'd like you to know that she hears you every time, gives a little wave and blows Mildred a kiss, and every time I say a little prayer for those on board and those waiting at home. Thank you. THE RESCUE HELICOPTER RECEIVED A LOVELY MESSAGE VIA FACEBOOK FROM RHANI AFTER HER FAMILY VISITED THE EXHIBITION AT NEWCASTLE MUSEUM IN JUNE. Mildred makes a difference 17 Rescue Magazine WINTER 2016
