The day included entertainment with Sarah Leete, face painting with Heidi Gleeson and a raffle by the Narrabri Support Group. Such a great effort from Tracey Page from the Railway Hotel Baan Baa, the Baan Baa community and the WRHS Narrabri Support Group. Over the Easter long weekend the village of Nundle held its annual Go for Gold Chinese Festival. This festival celebrates the significant role of Chinese and European miners in the development of the Nundle and Hanging Rock townships. With Chinese dragon dancing, markets and live music, the two-day festival attracts more than 16,000 visitors. The Nundle/Hanging Rock Support Group held raffles and a merchandise tent at the markets.
